Charles Spurgeon was an English Baptist preacher, well known for his sermons.
Spurgeon, “The Prince of Preachers” was born in Essex in 1834. He was baptized and began to serve in a Baptist Church.
When he was 20, he became pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel in London, the largest Baptiste congregation at the time. He preached there for 38 years.

His style and ability as a preacher made him famous in a few months. His sermons were published every week and had a high circulation.
By the date of his death, in 1892, he had preached more than 3000 sermons and had written plenty of commentaries, anecdotes, and devotions.

(My only negative comment is to the mechanics of the app which is not as smooth and user friendly as other Bible apps I have; and, of course, the ads)

Fantastic having Spurgeon’s notes to help us understand and apply Scripture. I am not thrilled with the ads; however, the ads make the app free, so it’s a minor issue and well-worth it.
It’s a nice app,you don’t need to worry thar you don’t carry a bible but you can read it on your phone.
I like. The Spurgeon Bible commentary because it not only gives clear readings of the Bible but the explanation of the different scriptures is awesome and helps me to understand. I have this in hardcover, but it is easier navigate in this app. For those who asked how to open the actual commentary; you must press the tab at the top right of the screen and then select ‘Show Comments”.
The commentary has good applicable notes. It is easy to understand. The daily Bible verse was unexpected but good to see along with the verses preceeding the verse of the day. Very pleased with the app.

This app is the answer to my prayer. I was asking God to give me materials that will answer the questions of my students. I got lots of references but could not find the answers, what i did was to ask God for the right materials and eventually this is the answer. Praise God for this app. Hallelujah!!!
Love reading his commentary. However, the copiers/printers need to be much more careful with their spelling, especially when involving God’s Word. Also, I can’t seem to find a clear male voice for listening.
I really thanks for this Biblical App! I feel the intervention of the Holy Spirit when i read the commentaries. It means that there are no contradiction when it comes of interpretation. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
